I'm home now after an amazing week when I literally learned the ropes. I hauled sails up and down, steered the ship on a reasonably steady course, plotted our position on a chart, made bread, crumble and cakes in the galley, scrubbed the deck, slept, ate, drank, talked, laughed and of course, climbed the rigging.
